Operation

The HP 10:10 LAN Bridge MB is designed to operate unattended.  The console interface
allows you to customize the bridge’s configuration, to monitor its status and activity, and to run
diagnostics if the bridge or network encounters problems.  Additionally, self-test routines can
be run on the bridge to test its hardware and firmware and to remove some transient problem
conditions.  The self-test routines are run by resetting the bridge.

(You can also perform these and other functions with the HP network management products
from a network management station anywhere on the network.  See your HP network
management product documentation for more information.)
