Maintenance
Cleaning
Procedure
To
keep
the
evaporator
in
peak
performance,
the
Ice
Flaker
should
be
cleaned
every
6
months
or
more
often
if
water
conditions
dictate.
Only
use
cleaning
solutions
that
are
labeled
as
“Nickel
‐
Safe”.
1.
Turn
the
Power
Switch
“Off”
at
the
Ice
Flaker
Control
Panel.
2.
Open
Ice
Flaker
Control
Panel
and
turn
Off
‐
Delay
timer
knob
fully
clockwise
to
30
minutes
run
time.
3.
Remove
all
ice
from
Ice
Bin.
4.
Close
water
supply
at
shut
‐
off
valve.
5.
Open
Ice
Flaker
Stop
Valve
to
allow
water
to
exit
from
Water
Sump.
Afterwards
close
Stop
Valve
to
prevent
loss
of
solution.
6.
Prepare
approved
cleaning
solution
by
following
manufacturer’s
instructions.
