3 Tips on using Foot Warmer XLP ONE
1)
Extremely poor circulation or extremely cold conditions may require Setting 2 or 3 for comfort
and warmth. Extra Battery Packs XLP ONE extend all day comfort and warmth.
2)
Do not allow chair lift to hit you! Damage may result to you and your Foot Warmer.
3)
Be careful walking down stairs! Battery Packs XLP ONE may catch stair edge when mounted
on back of boots.
4)
Do not place another insole over heated insole.
5)
Proper fitting boots help maintain comfort and warmth. Tight boots and improper fit restrict
blood flow and compromise comfort and warmth.
4 Attaching Docking Station XLP
4.1 Changing horizontal or vertical mounting position
of Docking Station XLP
1)
Docking Station XLP can be mounted either in the horizontal or vertical position. (Fig. 4-5)
2)
To change position, press the wire clip together and rotate 90°. (Fig. 3-5)
3)
Make sure wire clip locks into new position!
4.2 Installing Heating Element XLP in Docking Station XLP
1)
With the Battery Pack XLP ONE removed from the Docking Station XLP, thread the Heating
Element XLP Power Cord through the defined slots located at either end of the Docking
Station XLP. Both directions are OK! (Fig 6-6a)
2)
Secure the Heating Element XLP's 3 snap connector in the Docking Station XLP. Both
directions are OK! (Fig 7-7a)
3)
Make sure the 3 snap connector is properly secured and the Power Cord runs through either
of the defined slots. Power Cord can exit the Docking Station XLP on either of the ends! For
vertical mounting, we suggest the Power Cord exit at the top. For horizontal mounting, we
suggest the Power Cord exit toward the back of the boot when the Docking Station XLP is
attached and positioned on the lateral side. (Fig 8-8b)
4.3 Positioning Battery Pack XLP ONE into Docking Station XLP
1)
Open wire cage by pulling textile loop. Pull textile loop in direction of the wire clip and then
upwards to open the wire cage. (Fig. 9-9a)
2)
Position Battery Pack XLP ONE in the Docking Station XLP with the 3 snap connectors
aligned and press together until the connectors snap together. Make sure wire cage is
properly closed and Battery Pack XLP ONE is secure within Docking Station XLP. (Fig. 10-
10b)
4.4 Attaching and Positioning Docking Station XLP
1)
Position Docking Station XLP with wire clip over top of footwear at lateral side, front, or back.
NOTE: Positioning Docking Station XLP on back of boot increases potential chair lift damage.
