Tines
The tines are robust, of simple design and suit-
able for all types of soil.
Due to the inclination of the tines long fibre har
-
vest residues can move up quickly and turn away.
Tines with shearing protection
The tines are equipped with a shear bolt
(M 12 x 70 (10.9)) and suitable for deep soil
with few stones.
Shearing protection
TerraGrip tines
TerraGrip Tines
The spring loaded stone release protection with
a tripping force of 500 kg prevents damage to
tines, tine holder and coulters. Once the tripping
force is reached the tine can easily and quickly
escape up to 30 cm upwards.
NOTE
The stone release protection serves as protec-
tion system against obstacles in the field.
¾
Reduce the working depth if the stone re-
lease protection is often triggered under hard
ground conditions, even without stones as
obstacles.
Maintenance
¾
The bolts on the tool carrier must be checked
for firm seating after 10 operating hours and
before the start of the season.
WARNING
Danger of severe injuries caused by the ten-
sioned spring assembly.
¾
Replace the spring assembly only as a com-
plete unit (workshop work).
¾
Never open the spring assembly.
¾
If a tine is blocked or jammed by stones etc.,
please contact the HORSCH Service.
The blockage may give way and the tine jump
forward into its normal position.
Never stand in front of the tines!
MulchMix Coulters
WARNING

¾
Always support the machine with suitable
means before starting any assembly or main-
tenance work on tines and coulters.
¾
Secure the lift cylinders with aluminium clips.
The tines can be equipped with different coulters
to suit various operating conditions.
