PAGE 27 12-5-97 CHAPTER 4: CONFIGURATION
Set P02 - Baud Rate [ 0 - 125k, 1 - 250k, 2 - 500k ]
DeviceNet
allows the specification of 3 transmission speeds (125, 250 and 500kBaud).
Speed should be selected based on physical network cable length. All devices on a network
must be configured at the same baud rate.
Set P03 - Loss-of-N I/O Assembly size mode
Loss-of-network (see description above) is located in the ten’s position of this
parameter [0x - Fault, 1x - Use_Last_Value, 2x - Use_Term_Value].
I/O Assembly size (see description above) is located in the one’s position of this
parameter [0 - 2]. If this position is set to value greater than zero, P04-P06 will
also need configuration.
4.3
Inverter Function Codes (Drive Configuration)
4.3.1
The Inverter function codes may be configured through the keypad or through DeviceNet
.
Both methods require that the Pxx parameters be first set to an acceptable value and the Option card be
in the appropriate mode (Manual: keypad, Automatic: DeviceNet
). For more information on the Inverter
function codes, refer to the inverter Instruction Manual.
4.3.2
When accessing function codes over the DeviceNet
network, not all codes accessed over the
network will have the same number as listed in the inverter Instruction Manual. See Appendix A for the
network attribute number for each of the function codes. When using on-line configuration tools that use
EDS files, translation is done automatically.
4.4
Electronic Data Sheet (EDS) File
4.4.1
The HE300DNT100 Option Card package contains a diskette consisting of an Electronic Data
Sheet (EDS) for the HE300DNT100. This EDS can be used with different DeviceNet
on-line
configuration programs such as DeviceNet
Manager. This file contains information about each of the
Inverter’s Function Codes (such as prompts, location and value limitations). Please refer to the on-line
configuration program instructions on installing the HE300DNT100 EDS file.
