Connection

z

For inspection of pH, mV, ION, DO: Connect the BNC
connector.

z

For inspection of temperature: Connect the miniature
jack connector.

Note

When inspecting the DS-10 series, ES-10 series and D-24, do not
connect the BNC connector and miniature jack connector at
the same time.

Keys Description

ON/OFF key

Turns ON/OFF the power

OUTPUT key

Outputs simulation input

MODE key

Toggles output mode

UP key

Toggles simulation input value

DOWN key

1.

Loosen the stop screw of
the battery cover by using
a coin or screwdriver, etc.

2.

Pull up the stop screw,
and remove the battery
cover by sliding it out.

3.

If there are old batteries,
remove them.

4.

Place the new batteries in
the Simulator, verifying
the orientation of the poles
(

+

 and

-

).

5.

Insert the edge of the
battery cover into the
grooves on the Simulator,
and then tighten the stop
screw.

5

Check

Turn on the power of Simulator with ON/OFF key.

z

When certifying the instrument, keep the room
temperature in the range of ±5°C*: Temperature in X-52
delivery inspection is described in the inspection report.

z

It is necessary to keep the Simulator placed in
environment of ±5°C the temperature in X-52 delivery
inspection for one hour to secure the output accuracy.

z

Follow the “Operational Qualitification Confirmation
Report”, when performing OQ (Operational
Qualification).

Note

When the battery is running down, “Err” is displayed, and the
Simulator does not start.

Caution for the operation during outputting simulation
value

z

If OUTPUT key is pressed or mode is changed with
MODE key, outputting simulation input value stops.

z

Even if simulation input value is toggled, outputting
simulation input value continues unless output mode is
changed.
