3.9   Serial Port Window 

The Board has a serial interface 

without

 handshake lines. Data exchange can take place via 

RS232 (V.24) or RS422 (V.11) signal level. The interface may be used, for example, for the 
transmission of time telegrams to other computers.  

The serial time string output on the VG-ledge is configured in this window.
