Installation procedure
1. First steps
1) Connect the WIFI, GPRS and GPS antennas in the Smart Spot Core Box. In the back of the Box
is indicated the position of each antenna
2) Connect the Microphone in the Air Quality Extension Box
3) Connect the Smart Spot Communication Cable to the Smart Spot Core Box and to the Air
Quality Extension Box
4) Check that the antennas, the microphone and the Cable are strongly screwed
5) Locate the position in which the boxes are to be placed, and check that it is away from
possible electromagnetic interference sources and pollution sources.
6) Place the boxes in the possible location so that the Smart Spot Communication Cable is at the
bottom of the box and make sure that the are close enough so that the cable is not stressed.
a) In case of mounting on a mast, place the Smart Spot Core Box over the Air Quality
Expansion Box (Figure 7)
b) In wall mounting place the Smart Spot Core Box to the right of the Air Quality
Expansion Box (Figure 11)
Once you have checked the location where the boxes will be fixed, continue with the following steps
depending of the installation type.
c) In case of mounting on a mast, follow the point 2.A
d) In case of wall mounting, follow the point 2.B
