• Connect to a properly grounded outlet only. See Grounding Instructions.
• Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and
before servicing.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not immerse. To reduce the risk of electric shock - use indoors only, and use
only on carpet moistened by cleaning process.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near
children.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended
attachments.
• Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has
been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service
center for inspection. Call 1-800-263-6376 for the nearest service center.
• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord
around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away
from heated surfaces.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free
of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce air flow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and
moving parts.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or
hot ashes.
• Do not use without dirty water reservoir in place.
• Turn off all controls before unplugging.

• Brancher uniquement à une prise de terre appropriée. Consulter les instructions
de mise à terre.
• Ne pas s’éloigner de l’appareil lorsqu’il est branché. Le débrancher de la prise
lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé et avant l’entretien.
• Ne pas utiliser à l’extérieur.
• Ne pas immerger. Pour réduire le risque de tout choc électrique – utiliser uniquement à
l’intérieur et utiliser uniquement sur une moquette humidifiée par le processus de nettoy -
age.
• Ne pas permettre qu’il soit utilisé comme jouet. Être particulièrement attentif s’il est utilisé
par des enfants ou près d’eux.
• Utiliser l’appareil en respectant les consignes inscrites dans le présent manuel. N’utiliser que
les accessoires recommandés par le fabricant.
• Ne pas utiliser avec une prise ou un cordon d’alimentation endommagés. Si l’appareil
ne fonctionne pas de façon satisfaisante, s’il est tombé par terre ou dans l’eau, s’il a été
endommagé ou laissé dehors, le retourner à un centre de service après vente pour qu’il soit
inspecté. Composez le 1-800-263-6376 pour connaître le centre de service après vente le
plus près de chez vous.
• Ne pas tirer sur le cordon d’alimentation pour déplacer ou porter l’aspirateur. Ne pas utiliser
le cordon comme poignée, ne pas fermer de porte sur le cordon et ne pas tirer le cordon s’il
frotte sur une arête vive ou un coin de mur. Éviter que l’appareil ne roule sur le cordon. Tenir
le cordon à distance des surfaces chauffées.
• Ne pas débrancher en tirant sur le cordon d’alimentation. Pour débrancher, tenir la fiche, non
le cordon.
• Ne pas tirer sur le cordon électrique ou porter le shampouineur par le cordon. Ne
pas utiliser le cordon comme poignée, ne pas fermer de porte sur le cordon, et
ne pas entourer le cordon autour de bords tranchants ou de coins. Ne pas passer
l’appareil au dessus du cordon. Tenir le cordon à distance des surfaces chauffées.
