1.  Remove the battery (14) from the device 

2.  Unscrew the union nut (3) counter clockwise and remove the front sleeve 1 with the 

union nut (3) 

3.  Pull the safety slide (8) against the spring (7) and remove the pulling sleeve (5) from 

the adapter (6) by turning it counter clockwise 

4.  Insert the hexagon of the threaded mandrel (4) / threaded sleeve (4) into the spindle 

(9) and screw the threaded mandrel (4) / threaded sleeve (4) with the tension sleeve 

(5) onto the adapter (6) in a clockwise direction. Do not pull the safety slide (8) 

backwards. Tighten the tension sleeve (5) only by hand until the last tooth of the 

tension sleeve (5) engages on the safety slide (8) 

5.  Put on the front sleeve (1) with the union nut (3) and hand-tighten the union nut (3) 

clockwise 

6.  Screw the mouthpiece (2) 2 hand-tight onto the front sleeve (1) in a clockwise direction 

7.  Reinstall the battery.

Adjust the setting force or stroke 

The riveting tool has a coloured LED screen (6) and a keyboard with arrow keys (7) 

pointing up (O) and down (U) as well as left (L) and right (R). Furthermore, an OK button 

with which you can confirm an entry or selection. In the following, the keys are labelled 

OK, O and U as well as L and R. 

1.  To get to the software menu, press and hold OK for about 2 seconds. You can then 

enter a four-digit PIN code using the arrow buttons (7). The preset PIN is 1234. Press 

OK and you will get to the main menu. 

2.  In the next step you should change the PIN. Use the arrow buttons (7) to select the 

Expert menu and then the PIN settings sub-item. Use the arrow buttons (7) to enter 

the old PIN and the new PIN and click OK to return 

3.  You can change the language via the General menu, DE, EN, FR, IT, ES and PT are 

available to you via the arrow keys (7) and via Back with OK 

4.  If the device is currently locked (for example during initial setup) it is necessary to 

unlock the tool first. In the menu EXPERT you select with the arrow keys (7) the sub-

item TOOL LOCK. The lockdown is lifted by pressing OK once and confirmed with 

BACK and OK. 

5.  Via the menu SETTINGS and the sub-item NEW SETUP you get into the set-up mode. 

The menu guides you through the setup process with appropriate instructions on the 

OLED screen (6). If you have inserted a battery that is charged 60% or less, the set-up 

mode will be terminated, and you must first insert a fully charged battery. 

6.  When the battery charge is greater than 60%, the riveting tool prompts you to screw 

on a rivet nut by hand and press the OK button. The blind rivet nut should be screwed 

on so that the threaded mandrel (4) protrudes one turn of the thread from the blind 

rivet nut. When the blind rivet nut or blind rivet stud is closed, the mandrel (4) or the 

threaded sleeve (4) should be screwed on or off at least five turns.
