Releasing Applications
How to Program a Releasing Zone
REL CODE BELL Type Code
The following contains information needed to program a Release Code Bell circuit for a NAC
.
Description
A NAC programmed to pulse an audio or visual device as follows:
• 20 ppm when a the initial zone of a cross-zone activates.
• 120 ppm when a Cross Zone is satisfied.
• Steady when a release occurs.
Programming
1. Select a NAC (refer to “Modify NAC Points” on page 24) to use as a Release Code Bell
Circuit.
2. Select the
REL
CODE
BELL
Type Code, as shown in the following example (NAC shown).
3. Select the Releasing Zone (R0-R9) for your releasing application.
4. Press the
ENTER
key to save, then press the
ESC
key two times to return to the Program Change
screen.

An output with a
REL CODE BELL
Type Code requires the following selections: A
Releasing Zone selection (R0-R9); An input circuit mapped to the same Releasing Zone.
