Targbps
: Defines output bit rate. The range is
256kbps~4096kbps ( 4Mbps ) for D1 resolution.
•
Frame Per Second
: Defines the output frame rate. It can be any
number from 1~30. For NTSC video type, it is 30fps while PAL is
25fps.
•
I Frame Interval
: Defines the number of frames between two
adjacent I frame. The bigger the number is, the more difficult it is
to restore the original images. But smaller I frame interval means
higher bit rate which makes it more difficult to transmit streams
through network. The default value is 50 frames.
•
Video Type:
NTSC (30fps) or PAL (25fps).
•
Bitrate Type
: Constant Bitrate (CBR) or Variable Bitrate (VBR).
In VBR mode, bitrate is configured more flexibly to ensure high
quality video. It is often used in video surveillance, motion
detection and so on. In CBR mode, the average bitrate is fixed
and the picture quality is automatically adjusted to maintain the
preset bitrate. CBR is of particular benefit where video streams
need to be transmitted over a fixed bandwidth.
•
Encode type
: Determines the priority of
Frame Rate
and
Video
Quality
when encoding video stream. Select “Prefer Frame
Rate” radio button, frame rate will be stable even if video quality
is poor. Select “Prefer Video Quality” radio button, video quality
is ensured.
•
Video Resource
: Defines source of encoder’s video files. It may
be from DVD or Camera. Usually, Camera is selected in
surveillance.
Note
In most cases, it’s recommended to set ‘Targbps’ as
‘2Mbps’ and ‘Encode type’ as ‘Video Quality’ to get
better video quality in D1 resolution.
Max Client Limit
Max Number of Clients: Defines maximum number of unicast users.
HUSS-E1 video encoder supports up to 8 unit-cast users if multicast
mode is disabled. Number of Multicast users is unlimited. Unicast
mode is always effective for encoder streaming.
Multicast Address
Multicast Address is used by encoder to send video stream in
multicast mode.
