2.2  Integral Mounting

Step 

Procedure 

1 

Connect the probe to the process source (using the appropriate mounting 
from those supplied for the DL5000). 
Make sure that the final position of the installed electronics module 
allows the display to be easily viewed by personnel.  

2 

Apply a thin film of silicon grease on the ID of the electronics module’s 
probe mounting cavity. 

3 

Align the slots on the electronics module with those on the probe and 
press down to connect the electronics to the probe. 

4 

Tighten the locking screw on the bottom rear of the electronics module. 
Do not exceed 5 in-lb.
