4.  Operating Procedures and Monitoring 

4.1  Overview 

This chapter describes about Run Setting, Monitor functions of SoftMaster program and 

Operation methods of the High Speed counter module. 

4.2  Operation Method

Examples of HS counter are described in the Execution Method of SoftMaster.

SoftMaster provides GUI (Graphical User Interface) for parameter setting of HS 

counter module. The GUI offers convenience of usage to the user.

After SoftMaster is installed, click SoftMaster shortcut icon on the desktop, as 

shown in Figure 25.

The initial screen of SoftMaster appears. 

Parameters Setting and Monitoring

On the Project menu, click New Project or click 

 on the tool bar to display the 

screen as shown in Figure 26.

Type the name of the project in Project name box (Ex: 2MLF-HO2A) and enter the 

path and a folder name in File directory box, and then click 

OK

.

A project is created within the chosen location as shown in Figure 27.
