Mounting with luminAXS sight protection
The luminAXS sight protection (Item no. 027965) or luminAXS sight protection (Item no. 027965.10 for
VdS applications and SES applications) is suitable for f.m. and s.m. wiring.
The mounting is identical to the mounting with the mounting plate.
Note that the luminAXS sight protection cannot be rotated. For this reason, a surface mounted cable
entry from below or above is not possible.
For a lateral cable entry, it is therefore necessary to provide the wall plate under the sight protection.

Fasten reader and seal housing

hang the reader from above in the reader base

snap shut below

close with the two attached screws.

Press in plastic seals and clean the seals (free from grease).
Then cover the seals with VdS stickers.
After inserting the plastic seals, the housing cannot be opened without
destroying the seals.

Connection diagram
A plug has been soldered to the cable of the reader at the factory especially for test and
premounting sets. For the final installation, it usually has to be cut off.
