User parameterisation with the configuration tool usb
4.2.1
Usage of the Configuration tool
Depending on the application of the reader, it may be necessary to change the standard parameters.
With the software tool
in combination with the
(Item
"IQ DeviceInstaller"
configuration tool usb
no. 027966), it is possible to parameterise the reader and perform a firmware update.

area.

No higher-level system is needed for the programming.

The programming can also be performed on readers with a Clock/Data interface. The readers
are able to receive data via these normally unidirectional interfaces.
During the programming the readers are switched to the RS-485 mode.

Configuration
4.1
Standard programming in state of delivery
In delivery condition the reader has a standard programming that ensures the basic functioning of the
reader.
The

Button background lighting low brightness in sleep mode, bright for 5 seconds on detecting a data
carrier.

RS-485 is set to MIFARE readers.
