CRANKCASE
OIL SEAL REPLACEMENT
CRANKCASE COVER
Clean the mating surface of the oil seal and the
crankcase cover using a clean shop towel or an
equivalent material.
Install the oil seal in the crankcase cover in the
specified position, using the special tools as shown.
CRANKCASE SIDE COVER
Wipe the replacement oil seal clean, and wipe any oil
from the corresponding surface of the crankcase side
cover.
Place a clean shop towel or equivalent material under
the crankcase side cover before installing the oil seal.
Install the oil seal using the special tools as shown.
