Spark Plug
Use only the recommended type of spark plug in the recommended
heat range.
NOTICE
Using spark plugs with an improper heat range can cause engine
damage.
Refer to
Safety Precautions
on page 76.
1. Clean any dirt from around the spark plug base.
2. Disconnect the spark plug cap (1). Take care to avoid damaging
the spark plug wire when disconnecting the cap.
3. Using a spark plug wrench provided in the tool kit, remove the
spark plug.

for cold climate
(below 5°C, 41°F)
DPR7EA-9 (NGK) or
X22EPR-U9 (DENSO)
for extended
high speed riding
