Steering Lock Lever

The steering lock lever ( ) is located on
the side of the ignition switch.
The lever is used to lock the steering for
theft prevention (page
).
To lock:
Turn the handlebar all the way to the
left.
Turn the ignition OFF and remove the
ignition key.
Pull the steering lock lever back until it
stops and then wiggle the handlebar
until the lock catches.
Return the steering lock lever to its
starting position.
Make sure the handlebar is locked
securely by moving it slightly to the left
and right.
