Draining the Fuel Tank and Carburetor:
1. Remove the carburetor drain bolt [1].
Drain the carburetor bowl into an
approved container.
2. Turn fuel valve ON to allow fuel from
fuel tank to drain through carburetor
bowl.
3. After draining, install the drain bolt.
Engine Oil
Change the engine oil (page 44).
Engine Cylinder
If the mower is to be stored for more
than 3 months, remove the spark plug
(page 47). Pour 5 ~ 10 cc of clean
engine oil into the cylinder [1]. Pull the
starter rope several times to distribute
the oil in the cylinder. Reinstall the spark
plug.
Pull the starter rope slowly until
resistance is felt, then return the starter
grip gently. This will close the valves so
moisture can not enter the engine
cylinder.
WARNING
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
You can be burned or seriously injured when
handling fuel.
•
Stop the engine and keep heat, sparks, and
flame away.
•
Handle fuel only outdoors.
•
Wipe up spills immediately.
