To Temporarily Disengage the System

!

a

Perform one of the following operations 
to disengage the system temporarily. 
(CRUISE SET indicator temporarily goes 
off but the set speed remains in 
memory.)

• Apply the brake lever or pedal.
• Rotate the throttle grip past the 

automatically closed position in the 
deceleration direction.

•

 Disengage the clutch or 

operate the shift lever.

To resume cruise control:

•

 If you are still over 20 

mph (30 km/h), push and release the 
cruise control lever to [RES/+] side.

 If you are still over 30 mph 

(50 km/h), push and release the cruise 
control lever to [RES/+] side.

•

 If you are under 20 

mph (30 km/h), use the throttle to 
increase road speed above 20 mph (30 
km/h) and then push and release the 
cruise control lever to [RES/+] side.

 If you are under 30 mph (50 

km/h), use the throttle to increase 
road speed above 30 mph (50 km/h) 
and then push and release the cruise 
control lever to [RES/+] side.
