Automatic Clock Adjustment
GPScape System
Your PWC digital clock has an automatic
adjustment function when the system’s
satellite status is 3D Navigation (
page 67 ).
The system will adjust the digital clock
display after receiving the basic UT
(universal time, formerly referred to as
Greenwich Mean Time) and then calculating
your local time.
The automatic digital clock adjustment will
start to function about one minute after your
PWC’s battery is connected and the initial
manual clock adjustment is completed.
The automatic time adjustment should be
accurate within plus-or-minus 5 minutes. To
switch between standard and daylight saving
time, adjust the clock manually (
page 35 ).
