CHARGING YOUR VEHICLE
Charge your vehicle’s battery using either the included charge connector and a 120V
(15 amp) wall outlet or a 240V (32 amp) charger at an EV station.
120V Charging
4. Open the trunk floor lid, and
remove the charge connector.
1. Make sure the power is off and
the vehicle is in Park (P).
3. Open the charge lid.
6. Remove the charge connector
cap. Insert the charge connector
into the inlet until you hear a
click.
The inner lid charge light and
control box CHARGE indicator
come on (see Notes).
240V Charging
4. Insert the charge connector into
the inlet until you hear a click. The
inner lid charge light comes on
(see Notes).
1. Make sure the power is off and
the vehicle is in Park (P).
2. Press and hold the charge lid
release button next to the steering
wheel or on the remote.
3. Open the charge lid.
5. When charging is complete, press
the release button on the charge
connector to remove it.
Vehicle Charging Notes:
• You can set a timer for charging using the multi-information display or Charge
Scheduling (see
). However, manual charging will not begin if a timer has
been previously set. See your Owner’s Manual for more information.
• You can also operate the charging system using a downloadable smartphone
app. Visit
owners.honda.com/apps
for more information.
7. When charging is complete, press
the release button on the charge
connector to remove it.
8. Close the charge lid. Safely stow the
charge connector back into the
cargo area.
5. Insert the charge connector plug
into a 120V wall socket (do not use
an extension cord). The control
box READY indicator comes on.
2. Press and hold the charge lid
release button next to the steering
wheel or on the remote.
6. Close the charge lid.
