Cars sold in Australia receive an ADR (Australian Design Rules) combined fuel efficiency figure. However,
Honda New Zealand also carries out local tests on our vehicle range to establish a database of fuel
consumption figures for New Zealand conditions.

ADR fuel economy figures for the 2009 Accord Euro are all decreased compared to the previous Accord
Euro. Considering the increase in weight and specification level of the Accord Euro these figures are very
acceptable.

since 2003 when a local return test route between Auckland to Taupo was established. This test provides
several benefits to customers; a benchmark consumption across the Honda range, a target for optimal
achievable economy figure while driving at normal highway speeds in local conditions, and a comparison
where the New Zealand vehicle is not tested in the Australian or European regimes.

