described above. The status LED then lights up
orange immediately and the sequence must be
repeated. Once the headlight flasher sensor has
detected a flashing sequence, it will not send the cor-
responding switching command until a brief delay has
passed. This delay is determined by adding together
the values for the longest pulse (or pause) and the
tolerance (however, the minimum delay is 1 second).
The delay is used to identify the flashing sequence.
If the set flashing sequence consists of activating
the indicator light twice, for example, then this delay
stops a switching command from being sent if the
indicator light is activated three times.
8.3 Deleting sequences
If you no longer wish to use a channel of the head-
light flasher sensor, you can delete a sequence you
have already taught in. Similarly, if you want to make
significant changes to a sequence, then you will
need to delete the one you have stored first.
To delete sequences, proceed as follows:
• Press and hold down the relevant operating
button (1 or 2) for around four seconds, until the
status LED lights up orange.
