2 Hazard information
Protect the device from the effects of damp and
dust, as well as solar or other methods of heat
radiation. If the HomeMatic device is being installed
in a vehicle, once installation is complete you must
take care to ensure that neither the device nor its
wires are able to get into or come into contact with
moving or hot parts of the vehicle. In the engine
area, pay particular attention to the belts, fans and
exhaust system. Additionally, the HomeMatic device
must not block any air inlets.
You must also ensure that the HomeMatic device
is not able to get into or come into contact with the
parts referred to above as a result of vibrations or
due to acceleration, deceleration and centrifugal
forces that arise during driving.
Attention! If you do not have the specialist
knowledge required to carry out installa-
tion in a vehicle, you should entrust the work to a
specialist workshop.
