Troubleshooting

Solution
Heater doesn't turn on with the
power switch.
Main power supply switch is off.
Turn on the main power supply
switch.
Circuit breaker has tripped.
Too many appliances on this
circuit. Be sure that the electrical
supply for this unit is an individual
circuit.
Heater is unplugged from wall outlet.
Plug the cord into an outlet.
Power cord or power plug are damaged.
Contact a SEI customer service.
Power outlet for power plug prong is
loose.
Check the power outlet and
replace with a new one.
Loose wiring.
Contact SEI customer service.
Heater power switch is off.
Turn on the heater power switch.
Heater system is overheated.
Heater may be covered, or air inlet
or air outlet is blocked. Remove the
covering or the blockage and turn
off the power switch and unplug it.
Wait ten minutes, plug it back in,
then turn the heater on again.
There is an odor coming from the
heater.
The heater may emit a slight, harmless
odor when first used. This is a normal
condition caused by initial heating of the
internal parts, and will not occur again.
