8.2 Refilling the Silicon Oil
The silicon oil contains air when filling which needs to be removed before operation
according to the following steps:
•
Fill the silicon oil in the expansion tank until full as shown in Fig 16.
•
Connect the circulation pipeline discharging valve and expansion tank with the flexible
hose and then press
‘START’ to start the circulation pump. Open the discharge valve to
vent any air inside the pipeline.
•
Add silicon oil into the balance barrel until the silicon oil level indicated on the clip-on
sight glass shows it is full.
