7. Do not use the iron if it has been dropped, if evidence of damage
is visible, or if water leaks out of the iron.

Never touch the iron’s soleplate when the appliance
is on! Risk of burns!

Do not touch hot metal parts and stay away from hot
water or steam to avoid burns.
10. Pour only water into the reservoir. It is recommended that tap
water be used.
11. Be particularly careful if children are present near the appliance!
12. Do not immerse the appliance, its power cord or plug in water
or other liquids. Be particularly careful when filling the reservoir
with water.
13. Regularly check the power cord for damage. If the power
cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
an authorized service centre or a qualified individual, so as to
avoid hazards and injuries.
14. Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
15. Never direct the steam jet at people or animals.
16. Never point the steam jet directly at electric appliances or at
devices equipped with electric components (TV sets, radios,
electric heaters).
17. Never direct the steam jet at unprotected wooden surfaces,
joint grouts not suitable for contact with steam, cold glass or
plastic.
18. Never turn the iron upside down or lay it down on its side when
the appliance is on.
19. Caution! Risk of burns! The iron soleplate becomes very hot
during use.
20. Be careful when emptying the water reservoir -
risk of
scalding with hot water.
21. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
22. The water inlet cap must be closed during use.
23. Use the iron on a stable and flat surface. Always place the iron
on a stable, flat and heat-resistant surface.
24. Read the entire instruction manual before you start using the appliance.
