9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always remember to disconnect the appliance from the source of power supply before
cleaning.
Never submerge the kettle, power cord, or power base in water and keep these elements
away from sources of humidity.
Wipe the outer part of the body with a wet cloth or cleaning agent. Do not use poisonous
cleaning agents.
ATTENTION:
Do not use any chemicals, steel cleaning, wood cleaning, or abrasive agents
to clean the kettle’s interior as they may damage the glossy surface.
When the kettle is not in use or in storage, you can wind up the power cord underneath it.
The kettle must be regularly cleaned of scale deposits as the mineral substances contained
in tap water tend to settle on the bottom of the kettle and reduce its performance. You can
use the scale deposit removal agents available on the market. In such instances, please
follow the instructions presented on the packaging. You can also use white vinegar. In
such instances, please follow the instructions presented below.
1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and then with 3 cups of water.
2. Pour the solution out of the kettle and fill it with clean water. Boil the water and pour it
out. Repeat until you can no longer smell the vinegar. All stains inside the spout can be
removed with a wet cloth.
STORAGE:
1. Please store the appliance in a dry and cool location away from humidity and sunrays.
If you are planning prolonged downtime of the appliance, it is recommended to place it
inside its original packaging and store in a closed room. You can wind the power cord
up onto the kettle base.
TRANSPORT:
2. Please protect the appliance from vibrations and shocks in transport.
REPAIRS:
3. The appliance does not have any parts intended to be serviced by the user. Never repair
the appliance without assistance. Always entrust its repairs to a qualified professional.
If the power cord is damaged, it can be replaced by the manufacturer, authorised
service point, or other competent individual in order to avoid hazard or injury.
