electric kettle for the first time, fill it with water to the MAX level mark and boil as
instructed in
Section 7.4.
Completely emty of water. Repeat the first steps 2 to
4 times.

OPENING AND CLOSING THE LID

Open the lid by pressin the lid open button.

Close the lid by pressing it firmly to the kettle brim.
7.4
BOILING WATER
1. Fill the kettle to the desired level. Do not overfll to avoid splashing or spilling. The
water level gauge helps measuring the desired volume of water. Always make
sure that the water level is between the MIN and MAX mark. Remember to shut
the lid once flled.
Caution! Fill the appliance with fresh, cold water only.
2. Put the kettle on its power base and turn off the appliance as shown above.
Once the water is boiled, the appliance will automatically switch off. You may
now remove the stainless steel cordless electrical kettle from the power base.
3. Leave the appliance to cool down for approx. 15 to 20 minutes before boiling
water again. Do not press the On/Off switch when the kettle is cooling down,
otherwise the switch may become damaged.
4. Remove the kettle from the power base and unplug the power cord.
5. Keep the lid closed at all times when boiling water
Caution! Do not remove the kettle from the power base until it turns off or you
turn it off.
