8. If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the
manufacturer and service representative or a suitably qualified
person to avoid a hazard.

precautions before using the appliance.
10. Before plugging the appliance into a power outlet, verify that the power
outlet’s mains rating matches the supply voltage of the appliance.
11. Connect the electric kettle to a PE power outlet of 220-240 V~, 50 Hz
mains.
12. Use the kettle to boil water only, i.e. as intended.

Do not power the electric kettle when filled above the MAX. level or below
the MIN. level. If overfirlled, the electric kettle might spill the boiling water.
Do not power the cordless electric kettle when empty of water.
14. Do not immerse the power cord and/or its plug or the appliance in water
or other liquids to prevent an electrical shock.
15. Do not let the power cord hang over table edges or sink brims.

Do not connect to mains using an extension cord. If you still want to
use an extension cord, you do this on your sole responibility. Use only
extension cords which are in good technical condition, with protective
earth and suitable to power the appliance.
17. Do not let the power cord hang loose or touch hot surfaces.
18. Postition the appliance away from other heating kitchen appliances , e.g
stoves, electric hobs, gas burners, etc.
19. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Keep the power
base connector of the stainless steel cordless electrical kettle dry of
water. Remove the kettle from the ower base to fill it.
