5. 5. The appliance is designed for household use and similar applications,
such as:
•
canteen equipment in shops, offices and other working environments;
•
equipment in farmhouses;
•
equipment of hotel and motel rooms or in similar accommodation facilities;
•
in guest houses.
6. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may splash out.

Keep the lid closed when boiling water.
9. If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorized service centre or a qualified individual, so as to avoid hazards.
10. The electric kettle must be connected to a 220-240 V~ 50 Hz alternating
current mains through a grounded outlet.
11. Use the kettle only to boil water, in accordance with its intended use.

Do not turn on the kettle if it is filled with water above the maximum level
or below the minimum level. If the electric kettle is overfilled, boiling water
may splash out. Do not turn the kettle on if it is empty.
13. To prevent electrocution or electric shock, do not immerse the plug, the
power cord or the appliance itself in water or other liquids.
14. Do not hang the power cord over a table or sink edge.
15. Do not use an extension cord. If, however, you are willing to take
responsibility for such an action, use only an extension cord in good
technical condition, with proper grounding, and suitable for supplying the
amount of power the appliance needs.
16. The power cord should not hang freely or touch any hot surface.
17. Place the appliance away from other kitchen appliances that become hot,
such as an oven, electric cooker, gas burner etc.
18. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Make sure that
the connection between the kettle and its base is not wet.
19. Do not cover the appliance when it is switched on or when it is hot.
20. This appliance is intended for indoor use only.
21. Operate the appliance on a flat, stable and dry surface resistant to high
temperatures.
