Attention! To keep children safe, do not leave packaging parts (plastic
bags, cardboard boxes, expanded polystyrene elements etc.) freely
accessible. Danger of suffocation!
7. KETTLE OPERATION

packaging or dispose of it in accordance with local regulations.
7.1
Before use
1. Unfold the power cord concealed inside the base. Place the base on a dry, flat
and stable surface.
2. Fill the cordless kettle with clean water without exceeding the maximum level.
3. Connect the power cord to an electric outlet.
4.
Before first use, fill the cordless kettle with clean water without exceeding the
maximum level and boil the water in accordance with point 7.4. Pour the water
out and repeat the sequence 2-4 times.
Note: The appliance should be disconnected from the mains whenever it is
to be filled or topped up with water. Pouring water over the stainless steel
cordless kettle base could result in electrocution.
7.2
Turning the kettle on and off
Caution!
The handle, the adjacent lid and the body of the kettle
get hot. Do not touch these components when the appliance
is operated or immediately after water is boiled. Wait for the
appliance to cool down.
Remember to boil clean water 2-4 times before the first use (point
7.1 Before
use
).
1. In order to turn the appliance on, push the switch down. The switch will light
up in blue. The appliance will turn off automatically when the water has boiled.
2. To turn the appliance off manually, move the switch up to its initial position. The
switch light will be turned off.
7.3
Opening and closing the lid
1. To open the lid, pull the lid holder with one hand while holding the handle with
the other hand.
2. To close the lid, push the lid down while holding the handle with the other hand.
