1. Putting the cuff on
Connect the inflating tube of the cuff to the main unit.
a. Rotate your hand so that its “inner” surface faces up.
b. Position the cuff on the bare skin of your arm 1-2 cm above
the elbow.
c. While sitting, lay your arm in front of you on an even surface
(e.g. a table or a bench), palm upward. Position the cuff’s tube
over the middle of the arm (the axis set by the middle finger).
d. The cuff should rest comfortably around the arm, so that it is
possible to put a finger between the arm and the cuff.
CAUTION:
1. Always take measurements on the same hand.
2. Do not move your arm, body, the main unit, or the tube during
measurement.
3. Do not apply the cuff to an arm affected by inflammation, an
acute disease, infection or skin injuries.
