• Use the type of batteries recommended for this device.
• Do not put used batteries in a rubbish bin, but in special
containers for used batteries.
• Never use spent batteries in combination with new ones.
• Never expose batteries to direct heat sources, such as
excessive sunlight, heaters or fire.
• Never throw batteries into fire – they may explode.
• When the device is not used, always remove the batteries.
This will prevent damage to the device in the event
electrolyte leaks from the batteries.
• Remove spent batteries from the device immediately.
• Spent batteries may leak, which may damage the device.
• If you touch acid from a battery, rinse your hands under
running water. If any acid gets into your eyes, contact
a doctor. The acid contained in the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
9. SETTINGS
1. DATE AND TIME
A. Turn the device off after inserting the batteries. The time and
date will show on the display.
B. When the blood pressure monitor is in the clock mode,
simultaneously press and hold the MEM and ON/OFF buttons
until the display turns on and shows the blinking 24-hour
clock.
C. In the clock and date adjustment mode, the time format will
initially blink. When the time format is blinking, press the MEM
button to change the time format. The default time format is
24 h.
