When installing new batteries, remember to check the +/- polarity
of the batteries.
Remove discharged batteries immediately from the unit, as they
may leak and cause damage.
Always remove the batteries when not in use - this will prevent
the product from being damaged if the electrolyte leaks.
Always replace the entire battery pack with a functional one.
Keep batteries away from children and animals.
Do not dispose of your used batteries in a waste bin, but in special
containers for used batteries and accumulators.
Never use used batteries in combination with new ones.
Avoid exposing the battery to very high/low temperatures (below
0°C/32°F and over 40°C/104°F). Extreme temperatures can
affect their service life.
Avoid contact with liquids and metal objects, as this may result
in total or partial damage to the battery.
Place worn or damaged batteries in a special container.
Never expose batteries to direct sunlight, radiators, fire or
excessive heat.
Never dispose of batteries into a fire - they may explode.
Never immerse batteries in water. Do not touch the batteries with
wet hands.
If hands come into contact with acid from the battery, rinse
hands under running water. If electrolyte gets into your eyes,
contact your doctor. Acid contained in batteries may cause skin
irritation or chemical burns.
Swallowing batteries can be fatal! Keep batteries away from
children and pets. Immediately seek medical attention if the
battery is swallowed.
Warning!
In order to ensure adequate safety measures and
operating conditions, the batteries should only be mounted by
adults.
