Cleaning
Keep the device clean at all times. Dust and dirt will cause the parts to wear more
quickly and the lifespan of the device may be reduced.
•
Remove the brush from the motor unit (
IV
) (see the “Assembly” chapter).
•
Carefully tap out the brush and remove any coarse dirt with a soft cleaning brush.
Then clean the brush with warm water and a little mild detergent.
•
Clean the housing and the protective guard with a soft brush or a damp cloth.
If necessary, use a little mild detergent to remove more intense soiling.
•
Clean the ventilation slots with a brush, a vacuum cleaner or clean, dry compressed
air, if available.
Once all parts are completely dry, you can reassemble the device.
Lubrication
•
It is not necessary to lubricate any moving parts of the device.
Storage
•
Always remove the battery from the device.
•
Store the device and accessories in a dry, clean place which is protected from the
effects of weather and temperature and is out of the reach of children and animals.
