Do not use the device without a brush.
■
Always move the device
forwards
when it is switched on. Never drag the device
when it is switched on!
■
When working with the device, never linger on one spot for too long. Always
keep moving.
1. Familiarise yourself with all of the features and functions of the device.
2. Put on protective equipment and satisfy yourself that the area you are working in is
clear of any objects that may get in the way.
3. Fit the brush you want (see the “Assembly” chapter – “Attaching the Guide Wheel,
Protective Guard and Brush”).
4. Insert the battery (see the “Inserting / Detaching the Battery” chapter).
5. Place the device on the ground and align it so that the open side of the protective
guard (
V
) is parallel with the ground.
6. Hold the device securely with two hands on both handles (

) and maintain a suf-
fi cient distance from the device or brush.
7. Switch on the device by pushing the release button (

) forwards and pressing the
On / Off switch (

) at the same time. Hold down the On / Off switch. You can let go of
the release button again.
8. Guide the device at an even speed over the crevices which are to be cleaned. You
may need to repeat this step for more stubborn dirt.
9. Switch off the device by letting go of the On / Off switch.
10. Clean the device after
each
use in the manner described in the “Maintenance and
Storage” chapter. Do not allow any dirt particles to dry on.
Maintenance and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!

Always take the battery out of the device before any cleaning work is carried out.
■
Make sure that no liquids get into the motor unit during cleaning!
■
All moving parts are maintenance-free.
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads for
cleaning. These may damage the surface.
General Inspection
•
Regularly inspect all screws to make sure they fi t securely as over time they can
become loose due to vibrations.
•
Check the device and all accessories for damage on a regular basis. Do not use it if
the device or the accessories are damaged.
•
Do not use any worn brushes! It is essential to replace worn brushes.
