If not in use for a longer period of time, the refrigerator should
be switched to the ventilation position to prevent bad odours.
To activate the ventilation position, turn the lock

ventilation position (see illustration).

Only adjust the locking mechanism when the door is
open; if the door is closed, the device will be damaged.
