6) At the end of the cycling process the
Status screen displays the charged and
discharged capacities for each cycle. Press
the INC or DEC buttons to scroll through each of the cycle capacities.
For maximum safety during the discharging process, the charger may
throttle the discharge current lower than you programmed. Whether the
charger will automatically lower the discharge current will vary based on the
specific battery and the discharge current you programmed.

The Pb (Lead Acid) Battery Programming menus are suitable for charging and
discharging 2 to 20V lead acid batteries that are commonly used in the R/C
model hobby.
This mode is used for charging 2 to 20 volt Pb (Lead Acid) batteries. Pb batteries
are totally different from NiCd or NiMH batteries. They can only deliver relatively
low current compared to their capacity and similar restrictions apply to charging
them. For this reason, the optimal charge current should be approximately
1/10th of their capacity.
Pb batteries must not be charged rapidly. Always follow the guidelines
supplied by the battery manufacturer.

5) Press and hold the START button for more
than 3 seconds to begin the cycling
process. An automatic battery check will
be performed. If you receive an error, press the STOP button to go back to
the previous screen, then carefully check the battery and connections.
When the cycling process begins, the
Status screen will be displayed. This screen
shows various data about the current
process. ‘D’ will flash when discharging and
‘C’ will flash when charging. Press the INC
or DEC buttons to view additional process
information.
When the charger is idle between cycles to allow the battery to cool down,
DRY will be displayed in the Status screen and the timer will begin to count
up until the next cycle begins.
