·Overheating protection of soft starter:
When starting the soft start, if the temperature rises to 80°C±5°C, the protection will act. When the temperature drops to
55°C (minimum), the overheating protection will be released. (The thermal protection temperature switch needs to be
connected to the J4 terminal of the controller)
By setting the parameter F3 (start interval delay) to define the min. time for two consecutive starts, the thyristor can also
be effectively protected.
·The protection lag time of input phase loss: <3 seconds.
·The protection lag time of output phase loss: <3 seconds.
·The lag time of three-phase imbalance time : <3 seconds. Based on the current deviation of each phase greater than
50% ± 10%, when the load current is lower than 30% of the soft starter's nominal rated current, the standard deviation of
judgement will increase.
Operating over-current protection time: inverse-time thermal protection and trip protection are based on the max. working
current of the setting item F6
The time curve is shown in Fig. 4.7.
·The protection lag time of low power voltage: When the power voltage is lower than the set value, the protection action
time is <3 seconds.
·The protection lag time of high power voltage: When the power voltage is higher than the set value, the protection action
time is
<
3 seconds.
·The protection lag time of loaded short circuit: <0.1 second, the current is more than 8 times of the nominal rated current
of the soft starter.
Note:The above time parameters are from the detection of a valid signal until the trip protection command is issued. The
parameter values are for reference only. If it does not meet the user's requirements, additional special protection devices
should be added to ensure safety.
