9. Service operations manual
Dear Professional, working with the Smart Fire boiler you build reputation of the boiler, the
manufacturer and yours. We would appreciate a professional and responsible service.
9.1. Launch control
Check carefully the boiler, the water installation and the boiler room before launch as it is
instrumental to the operations safety, Pay special attention to assembly of all pieces of the boiler. In
particular, watch those pieces that might had been dismantled before the boiler was carried into the
boiler room. Furthermore the following tasks shall be competed before launch:
•
Check if the heating circuit holds enough water. Water in the central heating system
must be clean, transparent without any contamination. Water can only be connected to
cooled boiler. Failure to comply may result in damage.
•
Check the heating circuit for leaks.
•
Check chimney connection.
•
Check electricity connection.
9.2. Launch
The launch of the system includes ignition of the boiler and initial setup of the boiler's and boiler
room parameters as well as training given to the end user as regards control of the system. Watch
the boiler's operation in launch and correct the setup when necessary. Follow the controller's manual
in the setup. Pay special attention to:
•
tightness of the access openings' hatches - check for smoke leaking from under the
hatches when launching the system. Seal if necessary.
•
tightness of the upper collector covers– check for smoke leaking from under the
covers when launching the system. Seal off if necessary.
•
tightness of the door - check for smoke leaking from the doors edges, adjust hinges if
necessary.
•
Fuel container - check for smoke leaking from the container. Seal off if necessary
