Setting Your Remote Control Handset
Remove battery cover of the remote control
handset.
Insert the two batteries provided.
Ensure that the + and – terminals watch those
marked inside the battery compartment.
Initial display after inserting the batteries
Replace the battery cover
Press the CLOCK button
(the first digit flashes).

Enter the current time
using the number keys in
24Hr notation.

Press the CLOCK button.
“TRANS” now blink in the display.

Point the handset at your VCR,
press the TRANS
button
.
The time will appear in the VCR display.
“TRANS” now stop blinking in the display.

Press the CLOCK button.
The handset and the VCR clock have now been set
up.

Enter today’s date, month and year.

The day of the week appears and the first digit of
date then flashes.
Note:
At any stage during the number entry you can
correct any errors by pressing the CORRECT button
until the incorrect digit flashes, then you can enter
the correct number.
