SATELLITE RECEIVER OPERATION
Connection
There are two connection methods according to the type of satellite receiver.
Programme the VCR to match the control system of your satellite receiver.
This VCR can control several types of satellite receiver to tune to satellite programmes and record them
with the timer. You must first programme the VCR to match the system control code of your satellite
receiver. Some satellite receivers do not have any corresponding codes. Such a satellite receiver cannot
be controlled by this VCR.
Notes:
• Set your satellite receiver to the 2-digit
programme number indication mode if your
receiver is switchable.
• Place the satellite receiver on the VCR so that
the VCR infrared transmitter is not blocked and
is as close as possible to the infrared receiver of
the satellite receiver.
• You can view a satellite programme even when
playing back a tape by pressing the VCR/TV
button to set VCR to TV mode. Depending on
the type of a satellite receiver, its TV output
socket must be connected to the VCR DECODER
socket, to view a satellite programme.
