• Remove battery if the product is not going to be used for
an extended period of time.
ADDITIONAL USE OF THE USB
ADAPTER
Cell phones and other devices can be connected to the
USB output port using a commercially-available USB
cable to supply them with power.
The USB adapter can provide this function even while
it is being used as the power source for the heated
outerwear.
Ensure that the maximum output power of the USB
Adapter is not exceeded.
NOTE
• When supplying power to cell phones or other devices
and using the heated outerwear at the same time, make
sure that the battery is su
ffi
ciently charged.
• Do not use the USB output port for any purposes other
than supplying power to cell phones and other devices.
It is not capable of transferring data.
• It may not be possible to supply power to some models
of cell phones and other devices.
MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
WARNING
When not in use or during inspection and
maintenance, be sure to remove the USB adapter
and battery from the heated outerwear.
●
How to Clean
CAUTION
• Prior to cleaning, remove the battery from the USB
adapter, and remove all connections between the
heated outerwear and the USB adapter, smartphones,
etc.
• Do not wash the heated outerwear together with other
items, as its colors will bleed due to the nature of the
dyes.
1. Prior to cleaning remove all contents of the pockets, in
particular the USB adapter, battery and USB devices.
2. Store the power cord in the back pocket. Empty all of the
other pockets, and close the zippers of all pockets.
3. The connection plug can be washed together with the
heated outerwear.
4. Do not clean with aggressive cleaning agents.
5. Prior to connection with the USB adapter, the heated
outerwear and the contacts have to be dry.

○
Do not place objects on top of the heated outerwear.
NOTE
Storing lithium-ion batteries.
Make sure the lithium-ion batteries have been fully
charged before storing them.
Prolonged storage (3 months or more) of batteries with
a low charge may result in performance deterioration,
signi
fi
cantly reducing battery usage time or rendering
the batteries incapable of holding a charge.
However,
signi
fi
cantly reduced battery usage time may
be recovered by repeatedly charging and using the
batteries two to
fi
ve times.
If the battery usage time is extremely short despite
repeated charging and use, consider the batteries dead
and purchase new batteries.
CAUTION
In the operation and maintenance of power tools, the
safety regulations and standards prescribed in each
country must be observed.
