8. Safety and Control Device Setting
The compressor is protected by the following devices and their combinations.
(1) High Pressure Switch: This switch cuts out the operation of the compressor when the discharge
pressure exceeds the setting.
(2) Crankcase Heater: This band type heater protects against oil foaming during cold starting, as it is
energized while the compressor is stopped.
