FINAL STAGE
Treat the end of the fresh air in exhaust hose which is extended to the outdoor as follows.
Cut the fresh air in exhaust hose so that the height difference between downward bending point and the tip of the hood
becomes 240 – 300mm.
• When the fresh air in exhaust hose can be brought down straight from the wall hole, cut the hose at the point 190 – 250
mm away from the wall hole.
• When arranging the fresh air in exhaust hose in outdoor, cut the hose at the point 190 – 250 mm away from the
downward bending point.
When not using the outlet cover
CAUTION
In case the distance to the fresh air in exhaust hose is
small or the hose is not fixed downward, rain may drip
into the room from the fresh air in exhaust hose.
Set the hose longer at strong wind area or seaside.

Connect the fresh air in exhaust hose to the net.
When the fresh air in exhaust hose is ø25
Attach the hood to the net, insert the fresh air in exhaust hose in
the net and fix with vinyl tape.
(1) Insert the hood until it touches the end.
(2) Fix the tab of the net to the tab of the hood.
(3) Wrap the tip of the fresh air in exhaust hose with vinyl tape
(locally procured) 2 – 3 round.
(4) Insert the fresh air in exhaust hose (A) inside the net until it
touches the end and fix it with vinyl tape (locally procured).
When the fresh air in exhaust hose is ø20
Attach the net adapter and the hood to the net, insert the fresh
air in exhaust hose in the net and fix with vinyl tape.
(1) Use the grip of the net adapter to grip onto the corner hole of
the net to fix it.
(2) Insert the hood until it touches the end.
(3) Fix the tab of the net to the tab of the hood.
(4) Wrap the tip of the fresh air in exhaust hose with vinyl tape
(locally procured) 2 – 3 round.
(5) Insert the fresh air in exhaust hose inside the net adapter
until it touches the end and fix it with vinyl tape (locally
procured).
Fix the fresh air in exhaust hose and the refrigerating pipe with
decorative tape (refer to the drawing above). In this case, face it
downwards to avoid covering the fresh air in exhaust opening.

End Treatment of the Fresh Air In Exhaust Hose
• Push and hold the force cool switch on the indoor unit for 3 seconds to start the cool operation. Use this switch for
malfunction diagnosis or when putting back the refrigerant to outdoor unit.
• To stop the force cool operation, please press the force cool switch for 3 seconds again or use the remote control to
stop the operation.

mounting work cannot directly vent the

source of a questionable odor, smoke, or
oily smoke in the vicinity of the opening of
the fresh air in exhaust hose, even if the
mounting wok directly vents the fresh air
in exhaust hose outside the room.
Whichever mode the fresh air in exhaust selection
switch is selected, the two way air exchange can still
be operating.

Attaching the Front Panel
Remove the front panel, filter, nano-titanium air
purifying unit and top grill.
Remove the screw cover at the bottom of the
front cover and remove the screw.
Remove the screws on the terminal cover, left
side of the front cover and the screw on the
center part.
Place your hands on both sides of the front
cover and remove while pulling in the direction
of the arrow.
CAUTION
Please do not use excessive force to open and
close the movable panel.
This may cause it to malfunction.
(The movable panel automatically open and close
when the power is ON/OFF and START/STOP.)

Be sure to hold the front panel with both hands to detach and attach it.
Please refer to the operation manual on how to open and close the front panel.
Removing the Top Grill
Pull forward (both left and right grills).
Attaching the Top Grill
Push and slide the top grill along the top of the
indoor unit so that the “UP” indication goes to the
back of the unit.
Press the top grill down and affix with the stopper.
(The shapes of the left and right grills are different)

Confirm that the w-plate has been installed.
After inserting the front cover into the device,
ensure that the top tabs (4 places) have been
installed.
Tighten the screws on the terminal cover, left
side of the front cover and the screw on the
center part.
Tighten the two screws at the bottom of the front
cover and replace the screw cover.
Replace the top grill, nano-titanium air purifying
unit, filter and front panel.

Push the end of the right-side arm inward to release
the tab.
Move the left-side arm inward to release the left tab,
and then pull the panel towards you.
Insert the left tab of the front panel along the step on
the main body until the tab goes in the hole.
Securely insert the tab on the right arm of the front
panel along the step on the main body until the tab
goes in the hole.
Make sure that the front panel is securely attached,
and then close the front panel.
Lift up while pressing the top grill and remove the
stoppers.
