5.3 Video color temperature adjustment
(MEDIUM)
NOTE: This adjustment is not necessary since
its values are set by offset from the Standard
color temperature mode. Skip to the next Color
Temperature Adjustment (STD).
The speci fi cation of Video Color Temperature MEDIUM is:
x = 0.285 ± 0.01
y = 0.293 ± 0.01
(Color temp: 9300K)
5.4 Video color temperature adjustment (STD)
Adjustment Preparation
Same as “Video color temperature adjustment (HIGH)”.
Adjustment Procedure
(1) Set the CRT color analyzer (Minolta CA-100) at the cen-
ter of the panel.
(2) Enter to the Adjustment Mode and select the WHITE BAL
STANDARD option.
(3) Enter the white balance adjustment by pressing right cur-
sor key.
(4) Make sure at least one of the adjustment parameters is
set to FF (hexadecimal value).
(5) After receiving the white raster signal decrease the value
of one or two of the R/G/B adjustment parameters.
R - affects the x coordinate.
G - affects the y coordinate.
B - affects both coordinates inversely.
The speci fi cation of Video Color Temperature STANDARD
is:
x = 0.313 ± 0.01
y = 0.329 ± 0.01
(Color temp: 6500K + 6.5MPCD)
Remember, at least one of the parameter should remain in
FF value.
Remarks:
Same as “Video color temperature adjustment (HIGH)”.
5.5 Video color temperature adjustment
(D. Cinema)
NOTE: This adjustment is not necessary since
its values are set by offset from the Medium col-
or temperature mode.
The speci fi cation of Video Color Temperature D. Cinema is:
x = 0.314 ± 0.01
y = 0.351 ± 0.01
(Color temp.: 6300K + 27MPCD)
NOTE: Only the P50S602 include this D . Cinema mode.
Neither of the A models include this mode.
