B. Use the Control Panel (located at the side):
Menu/Select button is for calling the OSD menu or for se-
lecting such menu or any other OSD option.
Input/Exit button is for changing the displayed input or,
when some OSD is beeing displayed, to be able to exit
the highlighted option.

Vol
button is for reducing the audio volume or equiva-
lent to the Left cursor key when an adjustment value is
highlighted.

Vol
button is for increasing the audio volume or equiva-
lent to the Right cursor key when an adjustment value is
highlighted.

button is same as the R/C Up cursor button.

button is same as the R/C Down cursor button.

2. MEMORY INITIALIZE
The memory initialize operation is to clear the contents of
the data memory and to set all adjustment values to initial
default.
CAREFUL:
The data that will be lost is shown in the section
no. “4 Memory initialize affected adjustments”.
2.1 MEMORY INITIALIZE procedure:
(1) Enter Service Mode by the procedure in section 1.1.
(2) Select the second row of the Adjustment mode which
is “MEMORY INITIALIZE”, by pressing the down cursor
button once.
(3) Push the right cursor key for more than 3 seconds.
NOTE: Until the Memory Initialize operation
fi
nishes, do not
unplug the AC cord or neither press the side panel Power
button switch.
(4) The Memory initialize procedure is started by changing
the screen color to cyan and it
fi
nishes correctly if it turns to
green color. If it turns to RED color it means an error ocurred
during the memory initialize process.
(5) Once the memory initialize operation is
fi
nished,
(6) Plug the AC cord again and turn on the TV set. All set-
tings and data are updated.
3. FACTORY RESET:
The Factory Reset function is to change all the TV user ad-
justments to their default factory shipping conditions.
It is recommended to execute this procedure after all the
servicing adjustments are
fi
nished and before returning the
TV set to the owner.
3.1 FACTORY RESET procedure:
(1) Enter Service Mode by the procedure in section 1.1.
(2) The
fi
rst row of the service mode menu will be selected,
this is the FACTORY RESET option.
(3) Press the right cursor key (
►
) for more than 3 seconds.
NOTE: Until the factory reset operation
fi
nishes, do not un-
plug the AC cord or neither press the side panel Power but-
ton switch.
(4) The Factory reset procedure is started by changing the
screen color to magenta and it
fi
nishes correctly if it turns to
green color. If it turns to red color it means an error ocurred
during the factory reset process.
(5) Once the Factory reset operation is
fi
nished,
(6) Plug the AC cord in again and push the POWER button
to turn on the TV set. All settings and data are updated.
Con
fi
rm the settings are in factory shipping conditions (refer
to section 5.1 of this manual).
